Covision is a producer and marketer of orthopaedic implants, principally hip
& knee replacements and in addition to trauma and spinal medical devices.Covision has been formed by a team of people with significant experience in the
international application, manufacture and marketing of medical devices in particular
orthopaedic implants.
The executive management team is based in the Nottinghamshire region of the United
Kingdom and have considerable experience of manufacturing, quality and regulatory
affairs, as well as international sales and marketing, particularly to developing
markets.
The business has been established in the centre of the UK so as to access this
regions specialist suppliers and know-how in specialist metals and materials processing,
and also to have access to its skilled workforce. It is also attracted to the
region by its knowledge base at its Educational Centres which it will seek to
engage with for research and development activity.
The management’s historical knowledge and contacts within this orthopaedic centre
of Europe is critical in the manufacture of quality products.

Covision markets its products throughout the world and with particular focus
on developing markets which are ‘new territory’ for multi-nationals. Covision
can
compete in these markets as distribution channels and brand preferences are not
yet established. Key regions are South America, Far East and South Africa, SE
Asia as well as selective UK and European channels.
